The Labyrinth & Indie Games!

Fireball Updates
The IGF student submission is just ahead, and we'll be releasing the current build of Fireball at that time. There's some bigger news though. We've decided to make some changes to the game, and we're really excited at how they've been coming along. These changes won't be reflected in the IGF build, as we're still testing them, but in the future we hope to release more news and even a build with them in it!

Going along with the changes is a new level I'm working on, tentatively titled the Labyrinth. The concept is a dark, maze-like prison rife with hidden passageways and puzzles. I am very excited for this level; so excited, in fact, that I screwed up the scaling on the blocking in and now have to fix it. Luckily, Brendan showed me a handy trick to hopefully save me more than a few hours in fixing it.

Indie Games!
This week I want to show off some stuff that others around me have been working on. I'm not involved in these projects, but they are awesome and I want to give a shout out to them here.

Gravitas
Our part time level designer and good friend of mine, Austin Langston just posted 14 levels on his latest flash game Gravitas. Check it out and give him some feedback, it's pretty entertaining! Play on Kongregate

Hello Color
Tyler Coleman, another colleague of mine, is testing his mobile touch game called Hello Color. Expect to see it on the app-stores soon!

Kateas
Brendan Erquiaga, Fireball's programmer, has recently remade his MS Surface game Kateas for mobile platforms! It's not finished yet, but just like Hello Color, expect to see it on appstores soon!
